Many of our products are available with a variety of dye colors. We can normally lighten or darken dyes to a particular taste but exact matches are not always possible. The following is a list of dye colors we use regularly.
Black
Dark Brown
Saddle Tan
Mahogany
Red
Green
Blue
Orange
Yellow
Purple
Burgundy
Additional dye colors may be available depending on our suppliers.
We also use acrylic paints to detail our work. Acrylics will produce a bright, true-color finish where dyes will blend with the leather and sealer for a darker shade. However, since the paint is applied to the surface of the leather, it is possible for it to wear or chip on items where abrasion is expected (i.e. archer bracers). We regularly use the following acrylic colors for detail, others are available depending on our art supplier.
White
Yellow
Orange
Light Blue
Medium Blue
Metallic colors are also available for detail work but will double the cost of the finishing work due to the poor coverage and number of coats needed. We regularly use the following metallic colors for detail, others are available depending on our art supplier.
